Is Sunbrella fabric waterproof?
Standard Sunbrella is water-resistant and breathable. For fully waterproof applications, choose Sunbrella RAIN, which includes a built-in waterproof backing.
Are any fabrics mold- and mildew-resistant?
Yes — Sunbrella marine-grade vinyl and acrylics are designed to resist mold and mildew with proper airflow and care.
Do these fabrics fade in the sun?
Sunbrella fabrics come with a warranty against fading. The length of warranty will depend on the type of fabric.
Are your fabrics flame-retardant?
Some are. Many of our marine and commercial-grade fabrics meet FMVSS302 standards. Check individual product specs or contact us for help.
Samples
Do you offer samples that I can purchase?
Yes. Some fabrics do require a small fee, depending on the collection. In a hurry? Check out our Sunbrella Sample Packs.
Can I order free samples before placing my order?
Absolutely! We offer up to 10 free samples to help you with your project.
How quickly will I receive my samples?
Fabric samples may take up to 14 days depending on the type of sample ordered. If you need them sooner, give us a call and we can make the arrangements. Please note there might be additional shipping costs.

Cushions
Can I add Welt?
Yes, on most custom products you will have a welt or piping option in the builder.
Do your cushions come with Zippers?
Absolutely! We want you to have the option for removing your covers for cleaning and care.
What type of foam should I choose?
Typically, that depends on personal preferences. We do offer a foam sample kit that might help with your decision.
Do you offer polyfill as a fill option?
Yes, we now offer polyfill as a back cushion fill option. Reach out and we will help you place your order.
Can I order a custom size cushion?
Most definitely! That is our specialty. We will need to chat with you so give us a call or schedule a virtual Design Studio appointment and we will help you through the process.
Ordering
How long does it take to get a custom order?
Anywhere from 2 – 6 weeks depending on the product that you order. If you are in a time crunch, give us a call and we will do our best to meet your deadline.

Shipping
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes! Orders over $150 ship free within the contiguous 48 U.S. states. Orders under $150 ship for a flat rate of $25. (Excludes value cushions, oversized/custom items, and wholesale accounts. Shipping to HI and AK requires additional shipping cost)
How long does shipping take?
In-stock items usually ship within 3 business days for fabric orders. International orders typically ship within 5 business days once payment is received.
What shipping carrier do you use?
We ship most orders via UPS. Fabric samples ship via USPS First Class.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! Please contact us for the most recent shipping cost prior to placing your order. Please note, customers are responsible for all duties, taxes, and customs regulations.
Can you ship to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses?
No, UPS doesn’t offer shipping to P.O. Boxes or military APO/FPO addresses. Contact us for alternate options.
Can I change my shipping address after I place an order?
If your order has already shipped, re-routing requests incur a minimum $25 fee. Undeliverable packages will be reshipped at the customer’s expense.
